Hamiota Handi - Transit

Hamiota Handi - Transit is a service administered through a committee that includes community groups and Town & RM representatives. We operate a 14 passenger handi-cap bus which can handle 3 wheelchairs and 9 passengers; as well as a regular van. The drivers and volunteers receive a token payment for their time. Either vehicle is available for trips in or out of town by making arrangements with the coordinator.
Examples of trips are medical appointments, shopping, hair appointments & senior lunches at a local restaurant. 
All trips are by prior appointment.
